Congresswoman Harriet Hageman is Wyoming’s lone member in the U.S. House of Representatives. As a fourth-generation Wyomingite, she grew up on a ranch outside of Fort Laramie, attended Casper College on a livestock judging scholarship, and earned both her bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Wyoming. After many years of fighting government regulations and overreach as a trial attorney, Representative Hageman decided to move her fight to the halls of Congress. Since being sworn in for her first term in 2023, she has focused on reining in the regulatory state, opposing the weaponization of the federal government against American citizens, and ending the de facto moratorium on American energy production. Representative Hageman serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee, where she chairs the Water, Wildlife and Fisheries Subcommittee.
